PHARMACOLOGY

Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate is a pharmacologically inactive pro-drug that is converted following oral administration to the active metabolite, dexamfetamine. Dexamfetamine is a CNS stimulant that is thought to act by blocking neuronal reuptake of noradrenaline and dopamine.¹
